Bradesa

The river flows into the Šventoji from the left, 2.5 km lower Ringis mouth (Užpaliai town). The length 10.2 km, the area of the basin 19.6 km², the source is in the lake Bradesas, not far from Kirkliai village. The upper reaches are crossed by Utena-Sudeikiai road, and the lower reaches (near the mouth) are crossed by Užpaliai-Vyžuonos road. Nearly 5 km of Bradesa’s upper reaches become a melioration ditch. The most beautiful part of the river is below Gaigaliai village: the incline of the river and the speed of stream increase considerably; the river is squeezed by steep scarps on both sides, on the left bank some naked exposures appear. The yield of water in the mouth is about 0.15 m³/s.
