Krašuona

The length of the river Krašuona is 21.7 km, its basin (68.6 km²) stretches south-east of Utena and through Nemeikščiai, Biliakiemis and Raudoniškis flows southwards of Ryliškiai. The latter corner is specific as it is squeezed on three sides by the basin of the river Žeimena. The upper reaches of Krašuona are crossed by Tauragnai-Kuktiškės road, but the rivulet might not be noticed as it became a melioration ditch a long time ago. The average incline of the river bed is 0.38%, but the greatest fall (0.60%) is between Biliakiemis and Nemeikščiai. The biggest inflows of Krašuona:  the right, Šeduikis (length 7.6 km), the left, Viržintėlė, the length 6.6 km. The average yield of water in the mouth 0.5 m³/s.
